Amrop Turkey works extensively with local and multinational companies operating in the Energy industry. Despite being a technical area, Amrop Turkey has developed expertise in this industry through several projects in different segments of the industry and covered most of the professionals while working on projects for different positions in the organisations. As a result of this expertise, Amrop Turkey was contacted by a European engineering giant to find an Energy Consultant that would manage all of the group’s consulting and engineering projects in Turkey.
In addition to the strong candidates who were contacted during the previous assignments, Amrop Turkey conducted a fresh search for this position and covered all Turkish expatriates working in multinational energy and engineering companies with a focus on the energy industry in Europe and the Middle East.
At the end of the 5 week period, in addition to 2 candidates from the database from previous assignments, two more candidates from the fresh search were presented to the client. The client preferred to hire one of the candidates reached in the fresh search. As Amrop, we believe that the fresh search is the most appropriate and critical methodology applied in Executive Search projects, because each project has its own search criteria and a strong database is not generally enough to find professionals with the right skill set for a specific position.
