After placing the CFO and CMO to an Emerging Markets Multinational Media Company active in ten countries with 5,500 employees; the Head Office was moved from Paris to Istanbul. After a year of acquisition, the client needed to recruit an international CEO.
As part of this media company’s strategy involved a convergence with the internet, we focussed our search on transformational leaders. We placed additional emphasis on multicultural sensitivity and a professional, result oriented visionary approach. During our search, we introduced potential candidates, including three non-Turks with experience of living and leading in the Turkish environment. The client also identified direct competition top level management from European companies. After a throrough referencing process and a series of interviews, the final candidate was hired out from bluechip IT /Consultancy company with fifteen years of leadership experience in several companies.
During the search, as Amrop consultants we brought in different profiles and convinced the client about their added values in the business both for the short term and the longer term.
