The Company: 
Our client is a prestigious fast moving consumer goods company
  • Directly reports to the CEO
  • Manages more than 100 people
  • Proactively leads the sales organization by ensuring that the team achieves and exceeds its goals through setting up best practice procedures and adjusting corporate destinations of benefit and development
  • Develops strategies to achieve sales volume and the distribution targets and the operating revenue target for the company
  • Controls and prepares and reviews sales volume budget, selling expense/CAPEX budget and trade deals budget
  • Manages the development of the most suitable screens and consumer off-take generating vehicles
  • Controls all customer business plans of all direct customers
  • Leads/directs direct customers’ (National/Local Key Accounts/ Distributors / Out of Home Accounts) negotiations
  • Develops/changes distributor terms and conditions systems, if needed
  • Guides customer finance in determining customer risk/credit limits
  • Cooperates with the Marketing department in new product concepts and ideas, contributes to long term plan for product categories from a trade perspective
  • Directs and conducts sales projects (i.e. route planning) while leading and developing the sales team
  • Evaluates and controls sales team incentives; also, follows up customer bonuses and allowances
  • Follows up and advises on the stock level of the company


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from a reputable university. Master’s degree is an asset
  • At least 15 years of FMCG sector experience
  • Previously Director level experience is preferred
  • Broad knowledge on diverse FMCG selling and distribution system (modern/traditional/out of home) 
  • Previous experience in shopper/trade marketing is also expected
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial mindset is a plus
  • Sound people management and people leadership experience
  • Ability to clearly understand the long-term goals and aspirations of the business and contributing to the strategic decision-making process
  • Excellent written and spoken English
