Our client is a multinational company operating in consumer goods industry
Consumer Goods
  • Reports to the Board of Directors
  • Is responsible for the operations in Turkey and ensure the appropriate mid and long term strategies are implemented timely
  • Has the full sales and profit and loss responsibility and is held accountable for all business functions including sales & marketing, finance, legal, HR & administration, IT as well as operations management
  • Ensures that the current business model is based on best practices and then strictly adhere to them so that the scalability can be easily achieved, and synergies and leverages are clear
  • Leads commercial negotiations with suppliers in order to ensure optimum trading opportunities are leveraged
  • Creates annual operating plans that support business direction set by the board and correlates with annual operating budgets; submits annual plans to the board for approval
  • Develops and manages relationships with third parties that will facilitate accelerated access to supplier deals, people, sites and authorities to the benefit of the growth of the company
  • Builds and develops an organization structure that can provide sustainable growth
  • Ensures market share growth in brands to sustain and attain leadership position in the market
  • Oversees staff in developing annual budgets that support operating plans and submits budgets for board approval
  • University degree from a reputable university, MBA is an asset
  • At least 20 years of professional experience
  • Previous CEO level experience is expected
  • Experience in growing the business in a fast and profitable manner
  • Sound P/L experience is mandatory
  • Proven track record in change management and turnaround management is expected
  • Strong leadership skills are expected 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
